When co-founders Donald Snyder and Jack Sigan started Whiskey Systems in 2014, they knew what the craft spirits industry needed: transparency, clear pricing, and excellent customer support. Today, the Florida-based company has eight employees—each with distillery experience—and is the market leader in its niche. “We’re so excited and honored to be receiving this award,” says Snyder. “We’re proud to help distillers become as successful as possible.”

In the beginning, Whiskey Systems had but a handful of beta testers for its complete production tracking and TTB reporting system. Now it has more than 400 clients and is consistently growing and adding new features. Its employees offer a combined 60 years of industry experience.

“We’re very closely tied into the industry and with the TTB,” says Snyder. “When the pandemic hit, we were one of the first to add features to track and manage hand sanitizer production, helping customers out with compliance, tax changes, and other resources.”

The company’s goal is to support its user base in any way it can. “Our key to success is we don’t have subscription contracts. We have to earn people’s trust every day. I often say I’ve been drinking for a living and keeping people out of jail for 15 years,” he says.

“We aim to be more than just software. We offer best-in-class processes that are audit-ready. When our customers succeed, we succeed.”
