April 30, 2020 – 360° Brewing Company, the award-winning Sussex-based craft brewer, has announced that production of a limited-edition range of oenobeer will start this year.

With few UK breweries actively operating in this market, 360° Brewing Co. will be among the first in the country to produce and sell oenobeer. Brewed using top quality Sussex grown wine grapes and the finest hops, oenobeer offers a distinctive hybrid of beer and wine. These top-flight beers are rapidly gaining popularity, having been championed by several elite American breweries such as Trilium.

The company’s plans to branch out into this new and growing market follows the appointment of General Manager, Robin Langton, who brings with him over 20 years of experience in the drinks industry.

His previous positions include Chief Operating Officer at Ridgeview Estate, Senior BWS Buyer for Laithwaite’s and Iceland Foods, Wine Director for Naked Wines USA & UK, as well as experience working with Tiny Rebel Brewing and Dark Star Brewing Company.

In addition, William Hartley, the long-time Head Brewer at Wiper and True and later Bedlam Breweries, will join Robin to lead 360° as it enters the oenobeer market.

Commenting on the plans, Robin Langton said: “360 has great growth potential and, whilst we will continue to produce great English cask beers, such as our Sussex Best Bitter and Gold medal winning Session IPA, we are also excited to try something new. The unique combination of my global winemaking experience and Will’s craft expertise allows us to confidently enter the oenobeer market as we deliver plans to produce a collection of drinks that are truly unique in the UK market”.

Plans for its oenobeer production are well underway, with 360° Brewing Company already taking pre-orders for its limited-edition range.
