Recently Debuted Ready-to-Drink Beverage Made with 100% Blue Agave Tequila Inks Partnership with America’s Stadium

Pasadena, CA  – Today, Pasadena-based Pure Azul Beverage Company announced that Azulana – their high-quality, ready-to-drink sparkling beverage made with 100% blue agave tequila – is now the Official Sparkling Tequila Partner of the iconic Rose Bowl. Azulana will be offered at all Rose Bowl events throughout the 2019-2020 season, at concession stands throughout the stadium’s concourse.

Produced in the Jalisco region of Guadalajara, Mexico, which is widely recognized as the original birthplace of tequila, Azulana is offered in three unique flavors – Blue Agave, Lime and Pineapple Rosemary. Azulana is expertly crafted using blue agave tequila and sweetened with agave nectar.

“Azulana is an exciting, refreshing and convenient way to enjoy the finest quality of 100% blue agave tequila,” said Pure Azul Beverage Company CEO, Henry Morita. “Our vision of offering a high-quality, ready-to-drink tequila that fans can enjoy anytime, anywhere really comes to life with our partnership with Rose Bowl Stadium.”

The decision to produce Azulana in this region was crucial to the Azulana team, as they aimed to authentically integrate the region’s rich heritage and history. Morita and team conceptualized Azulana after identifying the opportunity to harness the fervor surrounding craft cocktail culture with the demand for progressive, RTD beverage options.

“The Rose Bowl Stadium is a symbol of the great city of Pasadena,” said Jens Weiden, CRO of Rose Bowl Operating Company. “We’re especially proud to support a local brand with such a bright future, and look forward to having them as a partner for years to come.”
