ATLANTA (November 19, 2018) –Hope Springs Distillery, a premium, small-batch distillery in the heart of Lilburn, Ga., today announces the release of its first gin, Garner Creek, an exotic, craft spirit made with carefully selected spices and herbs. After months of meticulous experimentation, the Garner Creek Gin will finally hit the shelves in the coming weeks.

“We’ve wanted to launch a gin for quite a while, so we’re thrilled to finally share Garner Creek Gin with the public,” says Betsey Dahlberg, co-owner of Hope Springs. “This product was named after one of our favorite parts of Lilburn’s history and inspired by the nature surrounding Garner Creek, so it’s close to our hearts. We’re proud to add another locally-sourced, handcrafted spirit to our lineup and we look forward to sharing it with the Atlanta community and beyond.”

Dahlberg and fellow co-owner Paul Allen named the spirit in honor of the famed Garner Creek that runs throughout Lilburn. Today, the creek continues to connect community members as it runs through the town and past Garner Farm, a property re-developed in 2017 with the intent of fostering positive relationships throughout Lilburn. The bottle’s hand-designed label features a drawing by Dahlberg of the Garner House, located just a couple of miles from the farm, which was occupied by famed Lilburn resident William Garner in the 1840s and passed down through his family for more than 150 years. The prominent Garner family has been an integral part of Lilburn’s history and the house remains a landmark in Lilburn today.

Similar to Hope Springs’ other signature spirits, Top Hat Vodka and Jetty Absinthe, Garner Creek Gin is hand-distilled from grain-to-glass for a smooth, crisp taste. The gin pairs perfectly with mixers for craft cocktails or as a standalone beverage, offering juniper forward flavors with floral and citrus notes.

Garner Creek Gin will be available for purchase in retail liquor stores, bars restaurants across Georgia, and in Hope Springs’ tasting room in Lilburn. The highly-anticipated gin can also be ordered directly from Savannah Distributing Company. The distillery’s 4,000-square-foot facility is located on Railroad Avenue in Lilburn’s historic Olde Town, a revitalized area home to a number of charming retail and restaurant destinations. The tasting room allows spirit lovers to take a tour of Hope Springs’ production, taste Garner Creek Gin, Top Hat Vodka and Jetty Absinthe firsthand, purchase bottles to take home and enjoy storytelling from the team.
