Committed to supporting dog rescue groups, a new organization is represented each week to share details about adoptable dogs and opportunities to provide support

Los Angeles, April 29, 2020 – The Nectar of the Dogs Wine Facebook Live weekly series has introduced a completely unique virtual wine tasting experience for wine and dog lovers. Nectar of the Dogs Wine invites a new dog rescue every week to highlight each organization’s mission, showcase dogs currently available for adoption and offer details about how everyone can continue to provide support. Viewers will also learn more about Nectar of the Dogs Wine and the company’s passion for good wine and giving back to these incredible organizations. All “Wine Time with NOTDW” episodes are held live at 5 p.m. every Friday on the Nectar of the Dogs Wine Facebook page.

  • Friday, May 1 | 5 pm: Live Love Animal Rescue founder, Emily Ann Peters, will join to talk about the mission of her organization to reduce the homeless dog population and highlight some of the available dogs up for adoption. The Wine of the Day is Rosé of Pinot Noir – semi-dry and light bodied, this rosé was sustainably farmed, and hand harvested from premium estate vineyards in Santa Barbara County.
  • Friday, May 8 | 5 pm: Kelly Sturgill of All American Dachshund Rescue will join to talk about their mission to save the doxies. The Wine of the Day is the 2015 Un-oaked Chardonnay – grown from a single vineyard in Lodi, this is a crisp Chardonnay with a creamy vanilla finish.
  • Friday, May 15 | 5 pm: Joined by Heather Schmidt from Hollywood Huskies, hear the story of how the organization rescues Siberian huskies and husky mixes in Southern California. The Wine of the Day is “3 Dogs White” – predominately estate grown Viognier, Gewürztraminer with just a kiss of late harvest Muscat Canelli.
  • Friday, May 22 | 5pm: Delaney’s Dog founder, CEO & Top Dog, Maureen Delaney, joins to talk about her passion for saving animals and tell us more about this charity that exists solely for the benefit of rescued dogs. The Wine of the Day is Rosé of Malbec – barely kissed by the skins, this rosé brings an elegant and balanced structure.
