Peter Hladun Promoted to Vice President, General Manager Cork Supply USA
Additional Staff Promotions Announced

February 14, 2018—Cascais, Portugal—The Cork Supply Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Peter Hladun to Vice President, General Manager, Cork Supply USA. In this new role, Hladun will lead the development and implementation of the strategic plan for CSU, ensuring its continued competitive success in the important U.S. closure industry. Cork Supply Founder Jochen Michalski said, “Peter’s leadership skills are exceptional, and with his extensive knowledge of the global wine and closures industries, I’m confident Cork Supply USA is well-positioned to continue our outstanding growth and development.” Hladun will report directly to Michalski, CEO of Cork Supply USA.

The company also announced the following promotions for its senior staff positions:
Monika Michalski is promoted to Global Brand Manager, the Cork Supply Group. Monika will lead all marketing and communications projects and initiatives for the Cork Supply brand products and services throughout the U.S., Europe, Australia, South Africa, Argentina, and China. Michalski was previously Marketing Manager, Europe.

Greg Hirson is promoted to Senior Technical Services Director, Cork Supply USA and continues to direct quality control measurements for all products and services of CSU and Tonnellerie Ô, the company’s oak cooperage. In addition to managing Cork Supply’s SIOP process, ISO, and Food Safety Certification, Greg will now be responsible for cost management for all cork products. Hirson was previously Technical Services Director and supervised the direction of laboratory operations at the company’s facility in Benicia, CA.

Tom Godfrey is promoted to Director of Operations, Cork Supply USA. Tom will now have full responsibility for the management of supply chain, distributed products, maintenance, and customer artwork; he will continue to manage cork production and shipping. Godfrey previously served as Operations Manager for Cork and Distributed Products.

Dinah Palaima is promoted to Human Resources Director, Cork Supply USA. Dinah will manage all human resource operations, maximizing employee performance in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives. Palaima was previously Human Resources Manager.
