Santa Rosa, Calif. (February 8, 2018). Members of the spirits and wine trade are invited to register soon for seminars and trade show tickets for the Spirited International Spirits Trade Tasting & Show. Just a few short weeks away, the event will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, in Grace Pavilion at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds.
The event is expected to draw makers and potential makers of distilled spirits, wholesalers, distributors, restaurateurs, members of the media and interested members of the trade who want to learn about spirits. Trade & Tasting Ticket pricing is $35. The cost for a Full Event Pass for all seminars and tastings is $325.
The single day event will include tasting stations, supplier exhibits and a morning of educational seminars.
The event kicks off with a keynote address by legendary winemaker Jean-Charles Boisset whose JCB Spirits launched late last year, already garnering double gold, gold and silver medals at the 2017 Craft Distillers Spirits Competition. Boisset will be on hand later that day for an exclusive taste of JCB Spirits vodkas and gin for an added tasting ticket price of $10.
Seminar topics include:
- “Microdistillation: Making Spirits Right” on the science behind the spirit.
- “Next Steps: Start Me Up!” about how to start or grow a distilled brand.
- “California Law…License to Sell: Type 74 Licensing” on the differences in interpretation of a new license (Type 74) in which the ABC may issue a new Craft Distiller’s license to qualified businesses.
The trade show runs from 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. with tasting and supplier stations spread throughout the pavilion.
This event is launched in conjunction with Sonoma Media Investments’ latest venture, Spirited magazine. The award-winning magazine is the adult beverage industry’s newest and most progressive national trade publication.
