FOREST GROVE, OR (June 26, 2018) – SakéOne, the country’s foremost premium saké brewer, announces the release of its new Moonstone Cucumber Mint flavor next month. From Brewmaster Takumi Kuwabara, this infused ginjo will be the fourth Moonstone saké available joining Asian Pear, Coconut Lemongrass, and Plum in the Moonstone portfolio.
Beginning as a pure junmai ginjo saké and infused with natural cucumber and mint flavors prior to bottling, Moonstone Cucumber Mint is at once elegant and unexpected. Crisp and refreshing, this new Moonstone saké features the relaxing aromas of cucumber and mint, while simultaneously offering a smooth and stimulating finish. The flavors of cucumber and mint are complemented by subtle notes of melon and enhanced by the soft water of Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Using premium rice milled to 58% of its original size, Moonstone Cucumber Mint has an alcohol content of 12% and is sulfite-free, gluten-free, vegan-friendly, and kosher. Presented in 750ml cobalt blue bottles, Moonstone Cucumber Mint has a suggested retail price of $13 and will be available on sakeone.com and through select accounts across the country as of July 1.
