This outstanding result recognizes the successful opening of the new J. Rieger & Co. distillery and spirits destination in Kansas City’s historic Electric Park neighborhood. The working distillery is located in a 60,000 square-foot facility that once housed the pre-Prohibition Heim Brewery bottling facility. The renovation of the building includes a hosts of new hospitality experiences, such as: education and tours; multiple full-service cocktail bars and lounge spaces; a personalized whiskey bottling station; and a 4,000-square foot Kansas City historical exhibit. There is even a custom-engineered 40-foot slide to ferry guests down from the second-floor Monogram Lounge to the first floor. Within the first six months, an estimated 80,000+ guests have visited the distillery. Attendance for distillery tours has surged since last summer’s opening, with over 3,000 tickets sold.
