SAN FRANCISCO, CA, (Oct. 25, 2018) – Chris and Lindsey Wanner, the husband and wife team behind West Coast Wine • Cheese in San Francisco’s Cow Hollow neighborhood, announce the debut of a new Mill Valley location in November 2018. With focus on limited production wines from premier West Coast wineries throughout California, Oregon and Washington, West Coast Wine • Cheese – Mill Valley honors the Wanner family’s commitment to delivering a dynamic, well-rounded wine program that has earned their San Francisco location Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence for the past three years running.

“When Lindsey and I opened West Coast Wine • Cheese in Cow Hollow four years ago, we were elated to see our customers’ enthusiasm for boutique West Coast producers and their stories behind the wine,” said Chris Wanner, Owner and Wine Director, West Coast Wine Cheese. “About a year into our business, we knew we wanted to explore opportunities to expand our concept. We couldn’t be more excited to extend our footprint across the Golden Gate with the launch of West Coast Wine • Cheese – Mill Valley.”

Located in the heart of downtown Mill Valley, North Bay locals and visitors will be able to enjoy West Coast Wine • Cheese’s superior wine bar experience in a sophisticated, yet relaxed setting. Focused on small production winemakers who are pushing the boundaries of quality and craftsmanship, the wine program features a dynamic bottle list (300+ selections) and wines by-the-glass that change weekly, offering both wine aficionados and enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy something new on every visit.

In line with their standards in Cow Hollow, the wine bar’s new Mill Valley location will meticulously employ temperature controlled wine refrigeration (red wines served at 60° F, white wines served at 45° F, and sparkling wines served at 36° F) paired with varietally correct Riedel® stemware.

In addition to wines by the bottle and glass, the menu will offer a rotating cheese and charcuterie menu, served with bread from San Francisco’s Jane Bakery, and curated to complement the extensive, yet approachable wine list. West Coast Wine • Cheese – Mill Valley will also offer California, Oregon and Washington beers on draft and by the bottle, as well as the opportunity to purchase wines at a special retail discount to savor at home.

West Coast Wine • Cheese – Mill Valley is scheduled to open to the public on November 30, 2018. Located at 31 Sunnyside Avenue in downtown Mill Valley, the 700-square foot space encourages lively conversation in a comfortable setting. The space features a central communal table and a built-in leather couch with velvet armchairs area for larger social gatherings, as well as bar seating and smaller tables for a more intimate tasting experience.
