Happy Cinco de Mayo! Why not make it extra memorable by upping your at-home margarita game this year?
IZO Agave Spirits shares its famous “MargarIZO” recipe with a few simple ingredients:
INGREDIENTS:
2 oz. IZO Mezcal
1 lime, juiced
1/2 oz. Triple Sec
YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
A cocktail shaker and strainer
A cocktail glass
Plenty of ice
Salt or Tajin for the rim
Lime slices for rim and garnish
PREPARATION:
Rim the glass with a slice of lime, then dip the rim in salt (you can also rim with Tajin if you like some spice). Fill the glass and the cocktail shaker with ice. Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake thoroughly. Use a strainer to transfer the ingredients to your glass. Garnish with a slice of lime.
