(July 30, 2019; Oakville, Calif.)—Tom Gamble, owner of Oakville-based Gamble Family Vineyards, is pleased to announce that Kristin Hamlin has joined the winery as South-Central Sales Manager. Hamlin is based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan Area and will oversee the sales and distribution for Gamble Family Vineyards throughout Texas and the surrounding states.

Hamlin comes to Gamble with over 22 years of experience in luxury wine and spirits sales in Texas and surrounding areas, such as Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. Prior to joining the Gamble team full-time, Hamlin was an independent business owner and sales consultant for the winery beginning in January 2019. Preceding this, she served as regional manager for Hahn Family Wines for almost three years, where she grew her region substantially during her tenure.

Having lived in Texas for the past 30 years, Hamlin is proud to call the state home. She holds a degree in marketing from Collin College in Plano, Texas. She has previously held sales positions at Rodney Strong Wine Estates, Hope Family Wines, Crawford Malone Fine Wine & Spirits and Vincor USA.

“We’re eager to have Kristin hit the ground running,” says Tom Gamble. “We’ve been incredibly impressed with her work so far and her expertise and drive will continue to support the growth of Gamble Family Vineyards in key markets.”

About Gamble Family Vineyards:

Founded by third-generation farmer Tom Gamble in 2005, Gamble Family Vineyards owns approximately 175 acres of prime estate vineyards from many of Napa’s most respected AVAs—Oakville, Mt. Veeder, Rutherford and Yountville. Its winery and by-invitation-only tasting room have a quiet presence, sitting modestly in an isolated nook off Highway 29 in the heart of Napa Valley’s Oakville AVA. Set back from the main road, Gamble’s mission here is to carry on the heritage of farming that his ancestors sowed when they came to Napa as cattle ranchers in 1916. With a primary focus on Bordeaux varietals, including Sauvignon Blanc, all of Gamble Family Vineyards’ wines are produced in small quantities, with careful attention to farming. Winemaker Jim Close has been with Gamble Family Vineyards since its inception. Gamble Family Vineyards offers four wines through wholesale/distribution, including the Rosé ($25), Gamble Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc ($28), Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ($65), and Paramount Proprietary Red Blend ($95).
