Sunset Magazine Announces the Launch of New Spirits Competition

Santa Rosa, Calif., (August 20, 2019) SUNSET Magazine, the leading media brand of the Western lifestyle announced today the launch of the Sunset Magazine International Spirits Competition. With the demographic of the Sunset Magazine reader base, the amount of social media followers and the number of magazine subscribers, this competition will be a must enter for all spirit producers desiring more exposure to a perfect audience. Sunset Magazine has sponsored an international wine competition since 2012 and is one of the most influential and popular competitions in the country.

“The spirits landscape represents both a pursuit of innovation and a respect for tradition—which dovetails with our own brand here at Sunset,” said Editor-in-Chief Matt Bean. “This competition helps us plant a flag in this important category and will be the first of many moves across our platforms to open up our coverage, which will include our ‘Sunset Sessions’ Happy Hour weekly video series and a weekly newsletter dedicated to spirits, wine, beer, and more.”
