Cider Summit Seattle Moves to MOHAI for 10th Anniversary Celebration
Pioneering festival takes place September 6 & 7 at the waterfront of Lake Union Park
Seattle, WA (July 10, 2019) – The 10th annual Cider Summit SEA, the region’s largest hard cider tasting festival returns to Seattle to celebrate the fastest growing segment of the craft beverage market. Cider Summit Seattle will take place Friday, September 6th from 3pm to 8pm (VIP session starts at 2pm-3pm) and Saturday, September 7th from noon to 5pm at Lake Union Park @ MOHAI, 860 Terry Ave. N. adjacent to The Museum of History & Industry.

Presented by Capitol Cider, this year’s Cider Summit SEA will offer tasting flights from each producer, allowing guests to enjoy more variety in smaller sample sizes, in addition to their regular 2oz pours. Guests will also receive commemorative 2oz festival glassware, as well as double the number of tasting tickets from previous years. This year’s event will feature over 150 ciders, meads, and cider cocktails including regional favorites and international classics, from the industry’s leading cidermakers, many of which will be on hand to inform and guide guests through the tastings.

Several cidermakers will also be competing in the Oregon Fruit Products Fruit Cider Challenge, creating pilot batch fruit ciders using Oregon Fruit Products puree. Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite via text, with the winners announced at the conclusion of the event.
“Cider Summit annually exposes thousands of cider lovers and the cider curious to some of the industry’s most unique products,” explained event co-founder, Alan Shapiro. “We’re thrilled to celebrate our 10th anniversary by continuing that mission and also add a few surprises to thank our guests for helping us reach 10 years.”
