Mexico City, January 29nd, 2020.- In order to recognize and transform the world of cocktails and the talent responsible for placing Latin American bars in the eyes of the world, from February 7th to 10th, will be held in Mexico City the first edition of The Liquid Show, a platform connecting industry professionals that aims to contribute to its transformation.

With an unprecedented and exclusive experience, The Liquid Show will bring together 7 of the best bars in Latin America that are part of The World’s 50 Best Bars: La Factoría (Puerto Rico), Carnaval (Lima, Perú), Florería Atlántico (Buenos Aires, Argentina), Alquímico (Cartagena, Colombia), Guilhotina Bar (Brasil), Licorería Limantour (Mexico City, Mexico) and Hanky Panky (Mexico City, Mexico), in addition to having Bebedero (Costa Rica) as a special guest.

“We live in times of change in which sharing experiences and stories becomes essential for us to thrive. Those of us who are part of the industry know that it is necessary to open spaces to promote what we do in Latin America, where we generate liquid knowledge and create a community in order to promote the development of the talent of our industry”, states Alberto González, Director of The Liquid Show and co-founder partner of Licorería Limantour.

To begin the activities, on Saturday, February 8th, will take place Candela, a spectacular party where attendees can experience and enjoy, from the hand of the best bartenders, the cocktail proposal from each of these bars; a journey of the senses that will be like traveling from one country to another, from top bar to top bar.

On Monday 10th, The Liquid Show will welcome renowned industry personalities, key opinion leaders, gurus and specialists who, through a day of conferences, workshops and round tables, will share their vision about trends and innovations that are currently driving the culture of cocktails and hospitality.

“In a country so divided like Mexico, it is time to add and unite the best of the industry through a multinational celebration that shows the endless styles and richness of profiles that have caught the attention of thousands of tourists to Latin American Bars. We are sure that this platform will contribute to generating greater openness and will drive the wonders of the cocktail world”, mentions Walter Meyenberg, Director of The Liquid Show and founding partner of Hanky Panky.
