SodaStream International Ltd. has debuted Sparkling Gold, a fine alcoholic concentrate to be added to sparkling water. It’s available for a limited time on the company’s German online shop, www.sodastream.de. Sparkling Gold contains 10 percent ABV when prepared according to directions, and the final beverage is described as “resembling the taste of a fruity Riesling wine.” So far, consumer taste tests have been positive.
