STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colorado (April 17, 2020) — Dano’s Tequila, makers of ultra-premium, 100% agave tequilas hand crafted in a family-owned distillery that dates back to 1840, today announced the launch of the Dano’s Tequila Birthday Club, a contest to help people make the most of their May birthdays during social distancing.
Birthdays are usually a great day for celebrating with friends, but because of COVID-19, many people are missing out on the opportunity to ring in this momentous occasion in the traditional sense. That’s why Dano’s is launching a nationwide contest for people with birthdays in May 2020 to receive a Dano’s Tequila Birthday Club prize.
“Social distancing is critical right now, but we know it can be a bummer for those celebrating birthdays during this time, which is why Dano’s wants to do our small part to help brighten people’s days,” said Chris Timmerman, co-founder and CEO of Dano’s Tequila. “The Dano’s Tequila Birthday Club gives people across the country something extra special to look forward to on their special day, and supports bartenders in the process.”
Dano’s will select 25 winners, one for each day of May starting on May 5 (Cinco de Mayo), who will receive a bottle of Dano’s Tequila. In addition, Dano’s will also hire bartenders to create a custom cocktail, suited to the birthday winner’s taste.
Because it wouldn’t a party without friends, and three makes a (virtual) crowd, each birthday winner can also nominate two friends of their choosing to receive a bottle of Dano’s tequila. To enter, contestants can follow @danostequila on Instagram, view Dano’s post announcing the program on Friday, April 17th at 12pm EST, tag two friends to include in the virtual party, and tell Dano’s why they want to ring in their birthday with Dano’s Tequila and what their favorite flavors/foods are using #danosbdayclub.
All entrants, friends tagged and virtual party guests must be 21+ years of age. All entries must be received by April 24th at 12pm EST. All 25 winners will be selected at random and notified by April 27th at 12pm EST and will be required to provide full shipping addresses for themselves + two guests by April 28th at 12pm EST.
