FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Hood River Distillers, the Northwest’s oldest and largest importer, distiller, producer, bottler, and marketer of distilled spirits, is pleased to announce several of its high quality spirits are medal winners at the 2020 Bartender Spirits Awards. Receiving gold are Batanga Tequila Blanco, Batanga Tequila Reposado, Old Delicious Apple Brandy and Big Gin along with silver medal winners, Bourbon Barreled Big Gin and Peat Barreled Big Gin. Judged by bartenders and bar managers, this year’s wins are gratifying accomplishments for the company.

Founded in 1934, the 86-year-old family-owned company takes pride in producing high quality spirits at approachable prices, and for them, quality and taste are key. All six spirits were judged on mixability, balance and versatility, taste, mouthfeel and finish, value and packaging, and with all spirits entered scoring at a silver level and above, Hood River Distillers’ attention to detail proves to be paying off.
