This past Saturday (March 16th), Redbreast Irish Whiskey landed a 30 ft redbreast robin in the heart of San Francisco in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. Hundreds of locals and tourists visited the experiential stunt inspired by the Redbreast distillery in Ireland.

After snapping their picture of the Redbreast Robin, visitors were invited to engage in a Redbreast Treasure Hunt. Armed with a map and red feather, consumers embarked on a tour of local bars that offered a special St. Patrick’s Day Redbreast drink promotion in exchange for their red feather.

Redbreast is the 2nd largest Ultra-Premium Irish Whiskey in the U.S and made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley, which is then triple distilled in traditional copper pot stills, Pot Still Irish Whiskeys are characterized by full, complex flavors and a wonderful, creamy mouthfeel. The inclusion of unmalted barley to the mashbill, along with the tradition of triple distillation, defines the character of Pot Still and is an uniquely Irish approach to whiskey distillation.
