Richmond, CA (Monday, November 4th). Monvera Glass Décor, an industry leader in screen printed glass packages is excited to announce that for the third year in a row, they have received multiple placements in the Annual packagePrinting Excellence Awards. Hundreds of entries were submitted across all packaging categories and printing technologies. The winners were announced in the August edition of Packaging Impressions.
Monvera picked up first, second and third place in the category Labels: Screen (Rotary or Flat). The winning labels cross three different industries serviced by Monvera: CBD, Spirits and Wine. The screen printed CBD label took first place followed by a vodka and a honey wine label.
“We were particularly pleased with our first-place win for Kashmir & Kind’s new line of all natural, low THC body oils”, says Caitriona Anderson, Monvera’s VP of Sales & Marketing. “This set of three, four-color labels (designed by StudioGood) was printed on 2oz frosted amber bottles. When we first started this business, we only printed wine labels due to our proximity to the Napa and Sonoma wine country. However, over the years we have diversified, and it is rewarding to receive outside recognition for our print capabilities on these small bottles used in the cosmetic, clean beauty and CBD industries. We now have the capability to screen print on cosmetic jars and bottles as small as 5ml.”
Each of the winning labels were printed with Fermac printing equipment with CNC (computer numerical controlled) technology to help achieve the four and five color screen prints; all of which featured extremely tight registration.
