Forward-thinking wine industry leader joins winning wine company


NOVATO, CA— July 17, 2018—Today, WX Brands announces the appointment of Michael Lukan to the position of Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Lukan will develop the company’s business strategy, as well as lead the finance, accounting and human resource teams.

Lukan’s professional experience includes senior finance, investment and operational roles. Most recently, Lukan co-founded Wine Hooligans, a wine brand holding company where he held the positions of CFO and COO. Prior to establishing Wine Hooligans, Lukan was the CFO at Purple Wine Company and Sonoma Wine Company. He also worked in the investment management industry as a Principal with Catalyst Investment Management Co. and held consulting roles with KPMG Peat Marwick and Price Waterhouse. He holds an MBA from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia.
