Constellation Brands has promoted Mallik Montiero to senior vice president and chief growth officer, replacing former CGO Jared Fix, who left the company for another opportunity. As CGO, Montiero will be responsible for the company’s efforts to “glean consumer and category insights that translate to impactful innovation strategies that meet consumers’ needs across beer, wine, and spirits,” according to a company statement.
“Constellation’s ability to identify, meet, and stay ahead of consumer trends has been a hallmark of its success for more than 70 years,” added Montiero, who joined the company in 2016 as vice president, innovation, for the beer division. “I’m excited by the opportunity to work across our full portfolio…to continue our company’s legacy.”
