Women of the Vine & Spirits Hosts First-of-its-Kind International Summit in London
Leaders to gather to collaborate and accelerate gender parity in the alcohol
beverage industry

 

April 12, 2018 (New York, NY) – As part of its international expansion, Women of the Vine & Spirits will host the International Summit – London on June 28, 2018 at the QEII Center in Westminster, London. The one-day event will feature speakers and topics focused on the unique issues and opportunities women in the alcohol beverage industry face.

Headlining the Summit will be Maggie Henriquez, President, LVMH Estates & Wine Division and President & CEO, KRUG Maison de Champagne and Jancis Robinson, OBE, MW, Wine Critic, Journalist and Wine Writer, both also European Advisory Board members of Women of the Vine & Spirits.

Confirmed speakers also include an industry line-up of leading professional women: Karen Betts, Chief Executive, Scotch Whisky Association; Jan Jones Blackhurst, EVP, Public Policy & Corporate Responsibility, Caesars Entertainment; Sue Knowles, Marketing & Admin Director, Costco UK & UK Chair LEAD (Leading Executives Advancing Diversity); and Stephanie Macleod, Master Blender, John Dewar & Sons Ltd. Panels and speakers will focus on topics ranging from a roadmap to closing the gender pay gap, the business incentive for why gender diversity and inclusion is good for the bottom line, best practices for starting or maintaining a mentorship program and succession planning, professional and personal development, how to navigate a career in the alcohol beverage industry and a look at what is to come for women in the industry.
