Family-owned, Pinot Noir specialist expands staff from local area

Santa Rosa, California (April 23, 2019) – Balletto Vineyards, one of the few family-owned estate wineries in Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley AVA, has added Jonathon Boylan, Lisa Walker and Christi Taverna to their growing team based in the heart of California’s Pinot Noir wine country. All three hires have strong connections to Sonoma County, where the Balletto family has lived and farmed for decades.

Jonathon Boylan joins the Balletto Vineyards viticulture team as a Viticulture Technician. Jonathon is a Sonoma County native whose passion for gardening and wine led him to Santa Rosa Junior College, where obtained a degree in viticulture. Jonathon will assist the team in cultivation of Balletto’s 800-plus acres of estate vineyards.

Lisa Walker, a longtime Sonoma County resident, will join the team as Events Coordinator in anticipation of Balletto Vineyards opening a new events center near their winery. Lisa brings a wealth of wine country event experience from her previous role at Ramekins Culinary School Events & Inn. Lisa will work to ensure every Balletto Vineyards guest has an exceptional experience at all on-site events.

Christi Taverna, a Sonoma County Native, was hired as Payroll Clerk and Administrative Assistant in the accounting department. Christi comes to the team with degrees in both accounting and office administration.
