Since debuting its revolutionary wine preservation opener in 2013, Coravin has fielded countless requests for a similar solution for screwcap wines.
The wait is over.
In July, the company released Coravin Screw Caps, which can serve and preserve screwcap wines for up to three months. A cap with self-sealing silicone replaces the original and can then be used with all Coravin mechanisms; the silicone cap is reusable up to 50 times.
In other company news, Coravin has announced Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits as its preferred on-trade sales partner. Restaurant customers in 18 states will be able to order Coravin systems and accessories through company representatives.
