Saverglass Group Opens Multi-Service Factory in Mexico

The New Glass Factory Offers Ultra-Modern and Multi-Process Decoration Bottling Service Dedicated to the Americas

New York – August 14, 2018 – Saverglass, the world’s leading manufacturer specializing in the production and decoration of luxury and high-end glass bottles, announces the opening of its factory in Mexico dedicated to serving the Americas.

Saverglass operates three glass factories plus three decoration plants in France, one in the United Arab Emirates, and now one in Mexico, its first in North America. Saverglass Group invested $120 million in the state of Jalisco for the construction of its glass and decoration plant, where production has started as of June 2018 and created 400 local jobs. The facility offers clients an ultra-modern and multi-process glass manufacturing and decoration bottle service, all under one roof. The factory’s location was chosen strategically as a convenient shipping point to other Mexican states, the USA & Canada, the Caribbean, and Central America, reducing delivery times and increasing service efficiency.

“We are very excited to now fully cater to the United States, the world’s leading market for the consumption of premium spirits,” says Loïc Quentin de Gromard Chief Executive Officer of Saverglass. “The new factory is a reflection of Saverglass’ dedication to providing exceptional bottling services to its customers”

With the new factory, Saverglass will increase bottle production by 120 million units per year during the first year, boosting overall annual production to 720 million bottles over time. Quality, creativity, innovation and flexibility are the four key strengths that have enabled the French-based company to establish its reputation as a pioneer, having become the world leader in the design, manufacture and decoration of glass bottles and carafes created for premium and above spirits along with high-end and vintage Champagnes and wines. Saverglass is renowned for its exclusive client portfolio which includes LVMH, Pernod Ricard, Bacardi Martini, Beam Suntory, Campari, Brown Forman, Treasury Wine Estates, Cristal Roederer and celebrity bottle Jon Bon Jovi Diving Into Hampton Water Rosé.

As part of Saverglass’ initiative to expand its presence in the U.S. market, it has partnered with Colangelo & Partners — a fine wine, spirits and food-focused integrated marketing agency – to develop and execute its communications strategy to key media stakeholders in the U.S. market. Under the new partnership, Colangelo & Partners will work to build Saverglass’ market presence through a strategic combination of media outreach, press trips, social media and brand marketing.
