New Flavored Whiskey Brand Launches with Three Flavors: Banana, Pineapple and Chocolate


October 1, 2020 (Fort Collins, CO) – The team at Whiskeysmith imagined that once upon a time two brothers came together to create a premium flavored whiskey brand that captured both of their desires in a glass. Whiskeysmith’s Beverage Director, Melinda Maddox, explained why the brand launched with these three specific flavors. “We tapped into these flavors to bring out the drinkers who are adventurous and ready to experiment. These flavored whiskeys play well in any modern and classic cocktail recipe and show their versatility by elevating the flavor. If you’re a mixologist who loves to play in the tiki space, the pineapple and banana expressions are perfect to substitute in for rum in a classic tiki drink such as a Pina Colada or Daiquiri. Then there’s chocolate, which can be used in anything from a chocolate negroni (bringing out the bitter and sweet profiles) or a dessert-themed cocktail, such as a banana foster that works well with the banana and chocolate flavors.”

In the spirit of the mythical brothers, these flavored whiskeys were carefully selected to capture both the backbone of American whiskey, and the complex flavoring of chocolate, banana, and pineapple through the true essence of their extracts. The feat was not easy, but the brand isn’t one to back down from a challenge. Starting backwards, Whiskeysmith worked with the best flavorists and tastemakers it knew.
