Louis Glunz Wines Announces New Executive Management Team to Shape Future of the Company Top Talent Brings Together Unmatched Skills and Vision to Provide Next Generation of Leadership and Growth in Industry

Lincolnshire, IL – Louis Glunz Wines today announced a new executive management team designed to shepherd in the next generation of leadership with the goal of enhanced innovation, market expansion and business growth. The combined skills of new leaders will bring trusted experience and expanded potential for the Illinois-based wholesaler and importer.

The senior executive management team will include Joe Glunz Jr. serving as the new Chief Executive Officer, John Samaritano as President of the company and Stacy Dalton as the new General Manager.

Joe Glunz Jr. will become Chief Executive Officer after 27 years with the company. He was most recently President and Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing and prior to that was the Sales Manager. He will be replacing Joe Glunz Sr. who devoted his entire career to shaping and building the successful wholesaler and importer into the trusted and family owned and operated company it is today. As CEO, Joe will transition from day to day operations and concentrate on growing Louis Glunz Wines’ market reach and John Samaritano will take over as President of the company.

Stacy Dalton will replace Chris Mack as General Manager of Louis Glunz Wines. Dalton brings with her a demonstrated knowledge of the industry, a background in corporate management and

a depth of experience in the technology sector. In her new role, Stacy will be central to implementing technology advancements at Louis Glunz Wines.

“With deep experience in wine, corporate management and technology, I look forward to combining these skills into the General Manager position at Louis Glunz Wines,” said Stacy Dalton. “At a pivotal time for the industry, suppliers and customers are seeking high quality and value, which is exactly what we continue to bring into the market. John Samaritano rejoins Louis Glunz Wines in his capacity as President after working with a number of luxury wineries, including most recently at Constellation Brands where he was Regional Manager of Luxury Wines. John has over three decades of wine and spirits experience in Chicago, the Midwest and throughout the country. He has extensive experience in distributor management, key account sales, pricing, programming and personnel training (both on and off premise).

Stacy Dalton spent two years as Vice President of International Operations at the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. She began formal wine education in 2010 which culminated in two years of study with the Institute of Masters of Wine program. Stacy also completed the WSET Diploma, CSW, and the introductory level of the Court of Master Sommeliers.

Prior to Glunz, Stacy worked in the technology sector for 25 years with the past 11 years spent as Group Vice President running several multi-million-dollar business divisions at Oracle. She also served on the Board of Directors for Wine Management Systems for five years. Stacy received her undergraduate degree in Finance at the University of Iowa and her MBA from Loyola University.
