Ballina, County Mayo, Ireland | May 7, 2018 — The Connacht Whiskey Company proudly announces its appointment of Bacchus Importers as its exclusive distributor in Delaware, Maryland, and Washington D.C. Bacchus Importers, LLC. is a boutique fine wine and spirits wholesaler and part of the Breakthru Beverage Group. Bacchus has achieved recognition for its expertise and unique approach towards curating products from around the world for its customers.
Connacht Whiskey CEO Thomas Jensen added “we have been well represented in these markets by RNDC since we started the brands, so this move allows us to remain in the Breakthru network while aligning with a distributor operation focused against smaller craft brands that require a lot of attention and hand selling as they develop.”
Bacchus will carry the full Connacht portfolio: Ballyhoo Irish Whiskey; Conncullin Irish Gin; Brothership Blended Irish-American Whiskey; Straw Boys Irish Vodka; Straw Boys Irish Poitin; and Spade&Bushel 10-Year-Old Single Malt Cask Strength Irish Whiskey.
